Seraikela: Seraikela-Kharswan district administration has shifted a total of eight polling booths in Seraikela and Kharsawan Assembly constituencies.
Four booths of Seraikela fall under Singhbhum Loksabha constituency while as many booths in Kharsawan fall under Khunti Lok Sabha constituency.
The relocation of booths has been effected by the order of the deputy commissioner-cum-district returning officer Hansraj Singh due to security reasons.
The eight booths had been declared sensitive by the administration which had written to the Election Commission seeking its permission to relocate the booths.
