Jamshedpur, Nov 19: Jusco has been conferred with the ABP News Emerging Brand Excellence Award 2014 under the Emerging Brand Category.
The award was given to Jusco in the light of the experience and expertise in integrated city man- agement for over 100 years along with the effort for inclusive growth through the citizen’s campaign Zimmedaar Nagrik Zimmedaar Shaher.
Ms Sukanya Das and Monojit Guha received the award on behalf of JUSCO at Hotel Taj Lands End, Mumbai on 14 November 2014. On winning the Award, JUSCO’s representative Ms Sukanya Das, Corporate Communications, spoke to the August gathering, “Brand JUSCO is synonymous to Brand Jamshedpur and Jamshedpur model is close to the Smart City concept which can be lever- aged in other towns and cities in India.
Most features of a Smart City already exist in Jamshedpur and JUSCO, the infrastructure and civic amenities vehicle of Tata Steel in Jamshedpur, has all the expertise to facilitate the same across India.
