Jamshedpur, Dec 9: JUSCO School South Park organised 18th annual Sports Day for junior section in the school premises on Thursday.
900 little enthusiastic athletes took part in colourful drills and fun races. The
Jiju Thomas, Senior Manager, JEM Foundation graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Deepanwita Tripathy, Executive Assistant to VP SHS, Tata Steel was the Guest of Honour for the event.
Jiju Thomas expressed his fervour to see the students back on track after the Covid lull.
Deepanwita Tripathy suggested that sports should be included in everyone’s daily regime as it is very essential nowadays for a happy and healthy living.
The ceremony commenced with the warm welcome of the esteemed guests and parents followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and symbolic march past by the Scouts & Guides.
The ground of JSSP beamed with the dynamic drills of the little laureates. Special prizes were awarded to the District, State and National prize winners in different fields of sports from Nursery to Std III.
Students and parents throughly enjoyed the enthralling events. Mili Sinha, Principal JUSCO School South Park motivated the children with her courteous words and conveyed her gratitude to the parents for their immense support and enthusiasm.
