Bollywood actress Elli AvrRam visits Jamshedpur, says OTT opening new opportunities for actors


Jamshedpur, Dec 9: Bollywood actress known for radiating persona, Elli AvrRam on Friday said that the advent of OTT and digital platforms has led to an upsurge in opportunities in the field of acting. Digital gave the space for experimentation too. This has inspired her to work on several projects on OTT platforms.

Talking to media on the sidelines of a store launch, she said that she is currently getting love from the fans for her movie titled Goodbye which has Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna in the leading role. She has been hailed for her performance by the fans. She went on to add that the digital platforms have wide reach and have immediate response too. The actress is looking for more projects on digital platforms.

AvrRam says that she is elated with the amount of appreciation she is getting for the movie Goodbye and her character Daisy. She added that Goodbye is a very special movie and everyone should watch this movie with their families.

Talking about her journey from Sweden to Mumbai, she said that she always wanted to be part of Bollywood. “I just fell in love with its cinema when I was as small as 5 year old. I dreamt so hard of working in Bollywood, despite not being Indian. I was fascinated by Indian dance and the colourful clothes,” said Elli, with a twinkle in her eye.

In 2021, she made her Tamil debut with the film Naane Varuven opposite National award winning superstar Dhanush. Her last special dance number ‘Har Funn Maula’ with megastar Aamir Khan got more than 90 million views on YouTube.

When asked about her experiences in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, with her co-star Kapil Sharma, she said that Kapil made her go through a laugh riot while shooting the film.

Elli, who was born in Sweden, made her debut in Bollywood with Mickey Virus opposite Manish Paul. She is especially happy about the fact that she has learnt the Hindi language so well.
