Jusco School honours its outstanding achievers at Prize Nite


Jamshedpur, August 25: Jusco School South Park celebrated its 10th Annual Prize Nite on Tuesday, August 25.

The programme comprised of varied and colourful events showcasing the talents of the young achievers of the school. It was an occasion with high spiritedness in a wide range of creativity.

Jusco School South Park came into being in 2005 and thus the programme also marked the celebration of the ten wonderful years of the school.

Ashish Mathur, MD Jusco was the Chief Guest. Mrs. Ruchi Narendran, Managing Trustee, JEM Foundation, Mr. A.F. Madon, Administrator, JEM Foundation, Principals of various schools and other dignified guests graced the occasion.

Mrs. Shovna De, Principal in her Annual School Report encapsulated the salient events and results of the academic year 2014-15. With the theatrical extravaganza, ‘Panchkanya’, the students showcased their creativity and excellence to pay tribute to the mythological characters Kunti, Tara, Draupadi, Mandodari and Ahilya.

The audience was appreciative of the splendid performances by the students. Out of 44 students, who had appeared for the Std X CBSE board exams, 8 students secured 10 points (95% – 100%) and 11 students secured 9 points (85% – 95%).

The achievers were honored by the Chief Guest. He praised the efforts of the school in building good value system and encouraged all the students to create their own identity and pursue their dreams with a deep sense of passion.

It was an evening of deep sense of high spirits, glee, galore and vivacity for all the students, teachers and parents. The students were awarded in various categories- Scholastic Proficiency, Best in Indoor & Outdoor Activities, Subject Toppers, School Topper, Olympiads, CBSE Awards, etc.

Baibhav Kumar and Archana Kumari were declared the Best All Rounder in Junior & Senior category. The programme ended leaving behind the promise of a handful of brighter hues the next year. The entire JSSP family was present at the function.
