Jamshedpur, March 25: A mega safety mass communication was organized at Sir Dorabji Tata Park for all vendor employees of Public Health and Horticulture Services Department. Around 1200 vendor employees participated in their uniform.
At the outset, audience were addressed by Arun Vidyut, CDM, PHS who set the tone of the meeting and stated the purpose of Mega Mass Meeting.
This was followed by safety message by Sr.DM, Safety, Satyaraj Rath who strongly emphasized on safety at workplace. He stressed on adopting defensive driving behaviour and to be alert and watchful of surroundings at workplace.
Capt. Dhananjay Mishra, Sr. General Manager, JTO in his opening remarks appreciated the efforts and contributions by vendor employees towards improving Jamshedpur Ranking to 15th position out of 4416 cities in the country under Swachh Bharat Survekshan�18. He reiterated that Safety is JUSCO�s top priority and the company can make significant progress only if safety is not compromised. He urged all the employees to learn from incidents and ensure safety at all times.
Stalls were set up by Vendor Proprietors�/Companies to show case their tools, tackles, equipments, safety appliances pertaining to conservancy services for Skill Enhancement of vendor employees.
