Jamshedpur, May 25: Jusco received the Smart Water Project Awards for achieving significant excellence in providing safe and clean drinking water to the residents of Jamshedpur. The award was presented at the Smart Cities India Expo 2016 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, on May 13.
This award, organized by Exhibitions India Group, recognizes pioneering projects that aim to make cities more livable, sustainable and economically viable by honoring best practices and models in the smart cities concept.
The objective of the award is to foster the development of future cities enhancing quality of life, innovation, competitiveness and efficient management, a press communiqu� issued by the civic utilities company stated on Wednesday.
Deeya Ray and Arijit Chakraborty received the award on behalf of Jusco from Prem Bhel, chairman, Exhibitions India Group.
