JUSCO bags Global CSR Excellence and Leadership Award 2017

Jamshedpur: JUSCO bagged the award for the Best City for Integrated Planning at the GLOBAL CSR EXCELLENCE & LEADERSHIP AWARDS 2017 by the 6th Edition of the World CSR Day and World CSR Congress on 18th February last in a majestic ceremony at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.

The theme for the Congress is �The Future of Profit is �Purpose��. The award was received by Dhananjay Mishra, Senior GM, Jamshedpur Town Operations and V P Singh, GM, Power Services Division.

World CSR Day also recognized and unveiled the 100 Most Impactful CSR Leaders from global listing. The 100 Most Impactful CSR Leaders is a tribute to those who are missionaries and passionate about CSR. Those leaders who have believed that CSR leadership must contribute to Social change were recognised.

Preeti Sehgal, Chief CSR, JUSCO was one of the 100 most impactful CSR Leaders and received this prestigious award in Mumbai in the same platform.

The Smart Cities Awards recognized pioneering projects designed to make cities more livable, sustainable and economically viable. Businesses, entrepreneurs, research hubs, non-governmental organizations and public or private consortiums pitch their innovative smart city strategies and solutions to transform our cities in the field of technology, energy, governance, sustainability and mobility.

Applicants were invited with impressive projects that use new innovative technology to engage citizens, increase efficiency, empower sustainability, generate business and improve quality of life.
