Jamshedpur, Jan. 25: Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), a non- political, organization of professionals in the field of public relations, corporate communications, advertising and other allied services, has emerged as one of the foremost platforms for PR professionals.
The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) held their annual Chanakya Award Ceremony for the national achievers on the two-day inaugural session of the 10th Global Communication Conclave in Kolkata on Friday.
The conclave followed the theme ‘Image Crisis: Who is Responsible?’ & ‘Digital Now – What Next.’ Among those present at the function included chief guest Sashi Panja, West Bengal minister for women and child development and social welfare, and RPS Kahlon, chairman, Kolkata Port Trust, RK Gupta, Eastern Railway general manager, Swami Jitatmananda Maharaj, vice-president, Ramakrishna Math, and Smriti Kumar Sarkar, vice-chancellor, Burdwan University.
Jamshedpur Utilities & Services Company Limited (JUSCO) bagged five awards on the occasion. Sukanya Das and Rajesh Rajan of the corporate communications and event management team of JUSCO received the awards from R P S Kahlon.
Jusco received the Platinum Award for Idea of the Year – Zimmedaar Mobile App, Gold Award for Diary (small), Gold Award for calendar (table), Gold Award for the public service campaign – “Zimmedaar Nagrik, Zimmedaar Shaher” and Silver Award for JUSCO Samachar.
Various organizations from across the country including Indian Oil, IDBI Bank, Taffe’, Mahindra & Mahindra, Dainik Bhaskar, NDTV, Akshay Patra, Canara Bank, Financial Express, Coca Cola, Pepsico and others participated at the event.
The PRCI Chanakya Awards is among the most esteemed event that celebrates excellence and innovation in the arena of corporate communications, and is conducted to recognize and applaud excellence in talent and professional standards.
