Jamshedpur: Under the Rickshaw driver Welfare Plan of Chief Minister, Government of Jharkhand and courtesy of the Department of City Development the vendors of the steel city were provided with rickshaws at a program held by Jugsalai Municipality at their premises in Jugsalai on Wednesday, June 4.
All together 15 rickshaws were distributed which amounted to Rs 1,80,000 (Rs 1,50,000 rickshaw cost + Rs 30,000 for the driver �s uniform, repairing kit and insurance contribution) the beneficiaries included Raman Paswan of Naya Bazar, Channar Saw of RP Patel School, Md. Akhtar of Gauri Shankar Road, Mohan Paswan of Dubey Mohalla, Sagendra Paswan of Station Road, Nagendra and Mukesh Paswan of Dubey Mohalla, Suresh Paswan of Station Road, Shrawan Sahu of Kali Charan Basti, Lagan Rajak of Dubey Mohalla, Ganesh Paswan of Bangali Pada, Abdul Sultan of Garib Nawaz Colony, Arman of Gauri Shankar Road, Saroj Ali of Purani Basti Road and Ramchandra Paswan of Station Road.
At the event Special officer of Jugsalai Municipality Jagdish Prasad, BJP Leader Mahesh Chandra Sharma and others were present.
