Jamshedpur, March 5: Chakradharpur Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Arun J Rathod inspected the site of the proposed foot over bridge (FOB) near railway level crossing in Jugsalai on Sunday. He also went to Sanjaynagar in Bagbera and inspected the encroached land belonging to the Railways. He was accompanied by several Railway officials on this occasion.
The DRM said the FOB project would soon start after completion of site inspection. “The residents of Jugsalai had been demanding a road over bridge (ROB) near the railway level crossing here. After the ROB construction, pedestrians are facing problem as they have to walk 700 metre on the ROB to cross the railway line. As a result, the demand for FOB has intensified. Site inspection is going on. The work will start soon thereafter,” he said. The DRM arrived at Tatanagar station in a special saloon coach. He was welcomed by the local Railway officials. He inspected the ongoing renovation at Tatanagar railway station.
