Jamshedpur, October 1: A football match of Jamshedpur Sporting Association (JSA) referees was played at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon. Four teams were formed and named as President XI, Vice President XI, Secretary XI and Chairman XI.
Vice President XI beat President XI by 2 goals to 0 in the final to win the match. Goal was scored by Bablu Lohar of VP XI. Earlier, President XI beat Chairman XI by 2 goals to 0 were Pyara Sardar and S C Tanti scored the goal. In another match Vice President XI beat Secretary XI by 4 – 3 in Tie breaker.
Goal was scored by Amrit Dang, Madhusudan, Bagun Besra and Sharad Routh from VP XI – missed by S N Tudu. Goal scored by Karan Hasnda, Ranjit Sardar and Fatu Kisku. Missed by GB Singh and Karu Murmu.
On the occasion Mukul Vinayak Choudhari, VP , JSA, K S Prasad, B N Mahato, S B Singh, S N Mukhi, Victor Somaya, Pitho Soren, Bagun Besra, G B Singh, J Behera of JSA Football Committee members were present.
Avinash Kumar, Hony Secretary, JSA conducted the match which was a new initiative and was ably supported by Miller Routh, Arun Sinha, Ajit Singh and B K Jena.
On the occasion 8 Sr. referees on seniority basis were honored with Tracksuit for their services. The referees who were honored include -Bugai Soren – 1996, S C Tanti – 1998, Pitho Soren – 2008, Akash Jackson Routh – 2008, Madhusudan – 2009, Sushil Sardar – 2009, Anand Mahato – 2009 and Bablu Lohar – 2009
