Jamshedpur: The students of Jamshedpur Public School took part in Parivartan, an initiative by the district police to make city roads safer.

The students performed a street-corner play to generate awareness about traffic rules as well as to apprise people about the consequences of violating traffic rules.

A huge crowd gathered on the street through their impressive performance as commuters and local residents stood and listened to the young crusaders and also pledged to be more careful on the road. They performed street corner plays at GPO Bistupur, Jhanda Chowk, Sakchi and Golmuri market.

The students were accompanied by the teachers, Punam, Saumitro and Manoranjan. They received moral support from several police officers including DSP Banka and DSP Gupta present on the occasion.

The students who performed the play included Shikar Singh, Shreya Jha, Neha kumari, Priya Kumari, Sameer, Alok, Ankush Kumar, Abhay Aanjan, Rahul Kumar and Manmohit Bhalla.
