JPS students fare well in CBSE class 12 results

Jamshedpur, May 28: The much-awaited CBSE class 12 results for 2014 were declared Wednesday. Students of Jamshedpur have once again come out with flying colours with Jamshedpur Public School also performing well. Ankita Mahapatra with 92.4 percent in commerce topped school while Rohit Singh in Science was the second topper with 91.8 percent marks.

Among science toppers Amit Kumar Sharma was second with 91.4 percent while Shivam Kumar Jha scored 91.2 percent marks. In Commerce Amit Kumar was second with 90.4 percent while Aastha bagged the third place with 90 percent marks.

Happy with the result Namita Agrawal , Principal of the school said she was satisfied were students and teachers have put in a great effort. We have secured 100 percent result as all 162 students who appeared passed the examination, added Agrawal.

While the Class 12 results for the Chennai and Trivandrum regions were declared on May 26, the results for the remaining regions – Ajmer, Allahabad, Bhubaneswar, Panchkula and Guwahati have been declared Wednesday. Results for Dehradun and Delhi will be declared tomorrow.
