Jamshedpur : The Annual Primary Sports cum Carnival was held in the high school campus of Jamshedpur Public School(JPS).
The chief guest Lokesh Verma,Head Administration, Tinplate Company of India Ltd., hoisted the school flag and declared the Sports meet open.
The Primary School Coordinator, Mrs Parveen Kaur welcomed the guests. There were a number of interesting events for the students, such as Sack Race, Joker on the Tracks, Fun with Shapes etc.
There were surprise fun events for the parents too, the mothers enthusiastically took part in fun events and the fathers showed their strength in �Tug of War� while their children cheered and clapped for them.
The highlight of the Sports meet was the spectacular drill display put up by the students of Std.II, III & IV with the theme � �Proud to be an Indian� and another Drill display by the students of The prizes were awarded by Lokesh Verma and the school Principal, Namita Agarwal.
The main attraction of the Carnival was the interesting Games Stalls put up by the teachers.
