Jamshedpur: The Interact Club of Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) organised a session by Dr Pantholi Prasad, Gynecologist, on menstrual health, for the girls of Std XI & XII.
The doctor gave valuable advice to the students regarding personal health and hygiene. She also gave useful insights to the students regarding diet that they should follow at this age. A balanced and nutritious diet is very important for mental as well as physical well being.
She motivated the students to maintain healthy habits because only a healthy woman can have a healthy family. Dr Prasad apprised the students regarding PCOD and other issues related to women’s health & hygiene.
The Interact Club moderator Dr Punam Kumari along with interactors Jesika, Zeest, Aditi, Naveen, Subarna & Niharika provided support to the programme.
