JPS felicitates meritorious students at annual prize night

Jamshedpur, Aug 1: Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) celebrated its 24th Annual Prize Night on Wednesday. Decked in beautiful lights, the programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Manoj Agrawal, Sr. Vice President, Nuvoco Vistas Ltd. and his wife Shubhra Agrawal who was present as the Guest of Honour. The occasion was graced by the presence of School Secretary, Sreeparna Ghosh, Treasurer, Varsha Gandhi, Coordinator AIWC Schools and members of School Managing Committee. During the programme School Principal Namita Agarwal presented the School Annual Report.

In the category of Group Awards for Std. I to IV, Sourish Sen bagged the most talented student Trophy and D. Purvi was awarded as the Best All Rounder student of Primary Block.

Pallav Acharya of Std. VII bagged the trophy of Outstanding Student in the Group Awards of Std. V � VII. Ujjwal Prakash Pandey bagged the Good Samaritan Award. The students dance troupe performed a classical dance which mesmerised the audience. This group has won accolades at the National and International level. The prize winners presented a motivational song. 

It was an evening of inspirational speeches, particularly by Chief Guest Manoj Agrawal who motivated the students to excel in life through hard work and perseverance.
