Jamshedpur Journalist’s Son Cracks JEE Advanced, Secures AIR 14,023

Jamshedpur: Bringing laurels to his family and school, Naval Singh, a student of Little Flower School, Telco, has secured an impressive All India Rank of 14,023 in the JEE Advanced 2026 examination.

Naval is the son of senior journalist Nanak Singh and Navdeep Rikhraj, Principal of Tinplate Khalsa High and Middle School, Golmuri. His achievement has been widely appreciated by family members, teachers, and well-wishers, who have praised his hard work, dedication, and academic excellence.

A bright student, Naval had earlier scored an outstanding 97 percent in his Class 12 board examinations. With his success in one of the country’s most competitive engineering entrance examinations, he has taken a significant step towards fulfilling his dream of pursuing higher studies at an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

Expressing his aspirations, Naval said, “I plan to join IIT and serve the country.” He added that he hopes to contribute to the nation’s development through engineering and technological innovation.

Teachers at Little Flower School described Naval as a disciplined and focused student who consistently demonstrated commitment towards academics. His achievement has brought pride to the school community and is expected to inspire many aspiring students preparing for competitive examinations.

Naval’s parents expressed happiness over their son’s accomplishment and credited his perseverance and determination for the success. The family hopes he will continue to excel in his academic journey and achieve his goal of studying at an IIT.
