Jamshedpur, Nov. 19: Shobhakant Jha, father of Prabhat Khabar�s journalist, Raman Kumar Jha, passed away on Thursday at Tata Main Hospital (TMH).
He was 76. Mr. Shobhakant was suffering from a long illness. His last rites will be performed on Friday morning at Subarnrekha burning ghat.
The funeral procession will be out from Jha�s residence in Govindpur. Late Shobhakant Jha had retired from Tata Steel�s Tubes Division.
Several of his relative and friends gathered at TMH after getting the news and consoled Raman.
