Jamshedpur: The morale of criminals in Jamshedpur is high. Today between 4.30 am and 4.40 am, journalist Anwar Sharif was attacked by unidentified bike-borne criminals while he was going to offer namaz at a mosque at a distance of 100 meters from Mango police station.

The criminals shouted religious slogans and fled. Anwar alleged that after the incident, though personnel from the Mango police station arrived at the spot, the officer did not take any action. The officer of the patrol car that arrived from the police station said that everything was fine. Anwar Sharif said that people wanted the police to identify the criminals after watching CCTVs in the locality, but no action has been taken in this regard so far.

Anwar gave complete information about the incident in the WhatsApp group of the journalists and the police and following this there is outrage among the journalists. At the moment, there is no response from the police officials.
At the same time, journalists who are angry with this incident have said that this attack on journalist Anwar shows how high the spirits of the criminals are. But the most regrettable thing is the attitude of the police.

Journalists have demanded that the in-charge of Mango police station and other senior officials should immediately take cognizance of this matter and arrest the criminals from CCTV footage and other sources.
