Jamshedpur: The campaign launched by Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee to keep dustbins in buses and cars started showing its impact here on Tuesday. Several long distance buses were found to be carrying dustbins today. The special officer of JNAC Sanjay Kumar had appealed to bus and car drivers to keep dustbins in their vehicles to ensure cleanliness on roads and at various public places. He also distributed dustbins among several bus operators.
A Sonari-based outfit, Smile Jharkhand, purchased several dustbins today. The outfit president Binod Pandit said he would be distributing the dustbins among car owners in the city.
