JNAC training citizens on home composting

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) has set the ball rolling to utilize daily waste coming out of temples, households and markets to produce home-made compost. JNAC officials said the flowers, fruits and other discards coming out of temples and markets should be used to prepare compost at household level.
JNAC City Manager Ravi Bharati has been entrusted with the task of preparing toilet cleaners by using fruit waste and incense sticks from used flowers.
JNAC Special Officer Krishna Kumar said the citizens were being trained on the method of preparing home compost.
