Discussions focused on the current status of civic amenities such as roads, drainage, lighting and drinking water, along with reviewing the financial expenditure and timelines for all schemes. The Deputy Commissioner issued strict instructions to ensure all work is completed with high quality and within the stipulated time frame.
In a significant move to enhance transparency and accountability, Deputy Commissioner Krishna Kumar announced that all information related to development schemes will now be made available to citizens via QR codes. By scanning the QR code, citizens will be able to easily view details such as the approved cost, current progress, location and the executive agency of any project. The JNAC considers this initiative an important step towards strengthening public service and access to information for citizens.
