JNAC to plant 15,000 saplings around water bodies

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) is going to plant 15,000 saplings on the banks of rivers, lakes and ponds in and around the city. The plantation will be carried out through public participation as per the instructions received from the Urban Development Department following a proposal of the forest department under the Jharkhand State Twenty Point Programme. The purpose of the drive is to conserve the environment and save various water resources.
