Jamshedpur, Sept 28: A mobile app, Swachh Toilet will be launched to keep tab on maintenance of cleanliness in public toilets by JNAC’s sanitary crew. This move becomes all the more important as public toilets have been installed in appreciable numbers to discourage open defecation. QR codes will be installed in every public toilet that can be scanned on any smart phone and feedback sent within two days for the authorities to record and take necessary action. The app, has been named Swachh Bharat. Sanitation workers appointed for the upkeep of sanitation and cleanliness of public toilets will have to scan and upload 10 photos for the purpose.
