Jamshedpur, May 26: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) cracked down on illegally constructed buildings in Sonari on Thursday. Taking stern action, the JNAC officials disconnected water supplies to six buildings in the area. The buildings are located in New West Layout and A Block, officials said.
Sources said the JNAC officials had prepared a list of buildings that were constructed without approved building plans. Deviation from approved plans led to the action, sources said.
