Jamshedpur, March 23: A flying squad of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) launched a drive to remove illegal posters and banners from various places across the city here on Thursday.

Special Officer Sanjay Kumar said the campaign was started to prevent accidents and loss of revenue to the civic body.

More than 400 banners and posters were removed from Sakchi, Bistupur and other parts of the city today.

The campaign started at 7.30 am and continued till 11 am, sources said.
