Jamshedpur, Sep 1: A flying squad of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) visited Sakchi and Bistupur to inspect the current situation in the various no parking zones in Sakchi.
The officials visited Sakchi and Bistupur markets and caught several people allegedly encroaching upon the footpath and other public places for the purpose of doing business. They spoke to several vendors and tried to persuade them not to encroach upon roads and pavements for business purposes. They said the vendors had been provided space in Shalini Sanjay Market at Sakchi earlier. But many of such people later rented out their shops and again started selling their wares on roads, sources said.
The JNAC officials warned vendors and traders against encroaching roads and pavements and also requested them to park their vehicles only in the parking zones. They said strict action would be taken against those found parking vehicles in no parking zones.
