Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) and its brand ambassadors for cleanliness known as Swachhata Doot are doing every bit to ensure the city scores high in the upcoming Swachhata Sarvekshan (cleanliness survey).
As per JNAC sources, promotional activities are being organized on a regular basis by Poonam Mahanand, Pappu Sardar and Vishwajeet Prasad, all brand ambassadors of JNAC, all over the city. The three were nominated brand ambassadors by the special officer of JNAC Sanjay Kumar last month.
Pappu Sardar is spreading public awareness on cleanliness through various means. He had installed banners and posters with cleanliness slogans and messages during Chhath puja recently. Now he is appealing to the citizens to keep the city clean by disposing waste in the dustbin and keeping their workplace and surroundings clean.
Poonam and Vishwajeet are organizing worships on Swachhat App to create awareness among the youth regarding cleanliness. Poonam said that cleanliness was an important issue for the society today. She said people should install the Swachhata App on their mobile phones to make the city clean and beautiful.
