Jamshedpur, August 6: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) has started work on setting up of Drone Mapping Control (DMC) System for the entire. This has been taken up as a pilot project to gauge the pros and cons of the project. The project includes preparation of 3K map of the entire city.
This will help in planning the city for the future as well as control encroachment and illegal building constructions and in planning traffic and transport systems.
The Deputy Commissioner who has been taking keen interest in the project has been giving necessary inputs for designing the project system. City Manager Sandeep Kumar was directed to oversee the planning and implementation of the DMC system.
