JNAC: ADM Aniket Sachan directs crackdown on building plan violations in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: A meeting was held today in Jamshedpur to address violations of building plan bye-laws in the city. The meeting, led by Additional District Magistrate Aniket Sachan, IAS, took place at the office of the Deputy Municipal Commissioner of the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC). Key officials present included Sub-Divisional Officer Shatabdi Majumdar, IAS, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar, and other JNAC officials. During the meeting, Sachan directed the officials to identify and list buildings that violate building plan regulations. These include buildings using parking or basement areas for commercial purposes, buildings constructed in defiance of approved plans despite receiving notices, and structures deemed dangerous from a security perspective. Officials have been given a one-week deadline to compile the list and take necessary actions.
