Gamharia, Oct 22: Workers of JMT Limited, now under RKFL Company, have approached the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Gamharia regarding their long-pending employment and payment issues. The employees alleged that after JMT was acquired by Ramakrishna Forgings Limited on November 22, 2023, their jobs, gratuity, and pending salaries remained unsettled despite repeated appeals.
In their memorandum, the workers accused RKFL management of violating labor laws, stating that over 300 employees, many with 25–30 years of service, were left without resolution. Multiple representations were made to the Deputy Labor Commissioners in Jamshedpur and Saraikela, as well as to other officials, but no response had been received to date.
The employees have now demanded immediate legal intervention from the SDO against the company management to secure their rightful dues.
