Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has decided to support the agitation started by parents against hike in fees in Kendriya Vidyalaya for non-UCIL employees. Baharagora MLA Kunal Sarangi and former legislator Ramdas Soren assured to lend support to the parents� agitation against the fee hike. Many other political leaders have also assured to rally round the agitators.
After speaking to the parents gathered at the local CRPF ground, the Baharagora MLA spoke to the state HRD Minister Nira Yadav and education secretary Amarendra Pratap singh. He also sent an email to the HRD Minister.
Sarangi said no school should be allowed to hike fees at a rate more than 10 per cent. He said depriving students of education in the CM�s home district was shameful. He said a Jharkhand Assembly committee had decided that the fee hike should not be more than 10 per cent.
