Ranchi, April 1: JMM general secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya said on Monday that in the last elections we had supported Saryu Rai despite the alliance to defeat the dictatorial former Chief Minister of the state Raghubar Das.
As far as Lok Sabha is concerned, Dhanbad seat is in Congress’s share. If Congress makes Saryu Rai a candidate, JMM will openly support him.
Incidentally, Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Rai himself had expressed his desire yesterday that if ‘India’ alliance supports him, he can contest the Lok Sabha elections from Dhanbad.
He had also said that BJP has made Dhullu Mahato, accused of serious crimes, its candidate from Dhanbad seat. He is not averse to contesting elections to defeat Dhullu.
Regarding this, he has talked to many leaders including Congress Legislature Party leader Alamgir Alam.
Supriyo Bhattacharya said that how corrupt BJP MP Nishikant Dubey is, who has been shouting against corruption, has been registered in the form of an FIR in Jasidih police station.
“We will release their complete horoscope on the day they file their nomination. Right now there is a code of conduct, but after the code of conduct is over, this entire matter will be investigated,” he said.
