Ask youth not to fall into trap of BJP
Ranchi, January 4: JMM which is heading the ruling coalition in Jharkhand had threatened a probe into alleged cheating of women by BJP leaders in the garb of collecting money for filling up forms of Gogo Didi Yojana.
JMM central general secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya informed media at Ranchi on Saturday that the state government will start a probe into BJP’s cheating of poor women of the state by charging Rs 500 during filling up of forms for Gogo Didi Yojana.
“Before the assembly polls BJP has done fraud in the name of Gogo Didi Yojana. The leaders had charged Rs 500 from each of the poor women in the name of filling up Gogo Didi Yojana forms, that money will now be recovered. The state government will start a probe into the cheating of women through the filling up of forms and punish the culprits,” said Bhattacharya.
Supriyo also challenged the BJP said that by getting Gogo Didi Yojana implemented from the center, Rs. 2100 should be given to all the women across the country. The state BJP leaders should put pressure on the Government of India in this direction so that women in Jharkhand can get the benefits of both Maiya Yojana and Gogo Didi Yojana.
He further said that the state government has prepared to work in accordance with the public aspirations in the new year.
“Under this, on January 6, Rs 2500 will be given to the accounts of women under the Chief Minister Mainiya Samman Yojana. The amount of both the months will come together in the account of those women who have not received the amount in the month of December in their account in the month of January,” said Bhattacharya.
Supriyo Bhattacharya said that despite one month of the formation of the Assembly, the party has not yet elected the Leader of Opposition. He said that during the rule of BJP, which raised the issue of purchase price of paddy in Jharkhand, farmers in the country have been agitating for a long time regarding MSP and have lost their lives.
Supriyo Bhattacharya said that all government appointments will be done this year. He called upon the youth to stop creating hurdles now.
“I request all the youth not to fall into the vicious circle of BJP. And do not go to court for every matter. If there is concrete evidence, you should inform the state government about it. The appointment process will start soon. Wherever appointments are made, local people of Jharkhand will be appointed,” claimed Bhattacharya.
