JMM shows black flags to Union Minister Tomar

Jamshedpur: Activists of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha on Saturday created ruckus outside the Sonari aerodrome following the arrival of Union Minister of Mines, Steel, Labour and Employment Narendra Singh Tomar in the afternoon.

They had gathered to protest hooting of Chief Minister Hemant Soren by a section of people present in the gathering during the PMs programme in Ranchi. The agitation was led by district JMM president Ramesh Hansda.

Hansda along with the party workers tried to show black flags to the Minister. He demanded a public apology from Modi for hooting of the CM “by BJP workers” and threatened that the party would protest every visit by any central minister to the state.

Tomar was first shown black flags from a distance when his convoy was passing outside the Sonari Aerodrome in Jamshedpur, police said.

After the exit of the minister from the aerodrome, the JMM leaders burnt the PMs effigy near the aerodrome. They were later removed from the scene by the police.
