Jamshedpur: The 10th death anniversary of Jharkhand revolutionary Lugu Murmu was observed at a ceremony organized near the Bhatin panchayat Bhawan. Lugu Murmu hailed from Jadugoda. JMM leaders and workers garlanded the statue of the revolutionary and offered floral tributes. JMM Potka block president Sudhir Soren describing Lugu Murmu as a contract laborer stated that he worked tirelessly to protect �Jal, Jungle, Zameen� and struggled enormously for the rights and self respect for contract workers who ultimately got justice. Those present on the occasion were Zila Parshad Hiramuni Murmu, Chandravati Mahto, Sunil Mahto, Vidha Das, Mahavir Murmu, Gram Pradhan Dula Murmu, priest Ram Das Murmu, Bhogan Hembram, Dama Munda, Lakhan Tudu, Vikas Hembram, Sunder Soren, Ramesh Majhi, Mohan Soren, DP Tudu, Himmat Hansda and others.
