Ranchi, April 10: Senior leader of JMM Lobin Hembram has announced to contest the Lok Sabha elections 2024 as an Independent candidate from Rajmahal parliamentary seat.
The MLA from Borio assembly constituency has made it clear that he will contest the general elections 2024 from Rajmahal Lok Sabha seat as an Independent candidate.
Lobin said that JMM could not stick to the principles on which it had won the assembly elections in 2019. He said that the party neither provided employment to the people nor implemented the local policy law.
Lobin Hembram said that Vijay Hansda of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is the only MP from Rajmahal Lok Sabha seat. But, this time the public is not in favor of Vijay Hansda.
He said that many protest letters, complaints and people there have been coming to the office of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha complaining about Vijay Hansda. Ignoring everything else, the party has once again trusted Vijay Hansda.
Lobin Hembram said that just as Hemant Soren got this throne after the death of Durga Soren, similarly Basant Soren should have got the chair of Chief Minister after Hemant Soren left power.
Lobin Hembram also said that he will not leave the party. Will contest elections as an independent while remaining in JMM. He is going to contest elections to save the honor of the party.
