JMM demands compensation for victims of cyclone

Jamshedpur : A delegation of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha staged dhrna and latter handed a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner on Monday demanding compensation for the victims of cyclone Phailin.

Ramesh Hansda, handed over a memorandum to the DC. He also sought immediate relief work for the victims. He also demanded that the entire state must be declared drought affected by the storm.

Agricultural loans should be forgiven and renewed KCC available . Pending District water supply schemes should be started without delay . BPL students in English-medium schools, tuition fees should be issued by the Department of Welfare.

On the occasion , Sonu Hembram, Dr Nassar Firdausi, Sunil Gupta , Pawan Singh , Rakesh Kumar , Nita Sarkar, Mahabir Murmu , Md Sarfroj were present.
