Jamshedpur, May 15: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leaders on Sunday claimed that the May 14 Jharkhand bandh was completely successful. They also claimed that the people of the state have rejected the Raghubar Das government�s domicile policy.
Addressing a press conference at Nirmal Bhawan here on Sunday, senior JMM leader and MLA Champai Soren said that the government has applied its full force to make the bandh a flop, but the people of the state made it a big success.
�Raghubar Das government is showing ‘dictatorial’ attitude, but the state government will have to make amendments to the domicile policy. Our protest against the domicile policy will continue till the government backs down,� said Soren.
Ghatshila MLA Kunal Sarangi, said, �If required we will hold economic blockade.� He thanked the people of Jharkhand for making the bandh successful.
