JKM for proper maintenance of Adityapur-Kandra Road

Seraikela, Feb 10: Jan Kalyan Morcha, a social outfit has submitted a memorandum to the Seraikela deputy commissioner for immediate intervention and repair of the Adityapur-Kandra-Seraikela State Highway 5 which is regularly being encroached and not being maintained properly. 
Morcha president Om Prakash and Adityapur lawyers sangh president Narendra Prasad in a joint memorandum on Wednesday informed that due to encroachment and poor maintenance on the roads people have to suffer problems while commuting and also leading to regular mishap. 
They also reminded that due to PIL filed by the morcha in the Jharkhand High Court and the subsequent verdict led to the road being built in PPP mode in the form of a toll road and the road maintenance, repair, cleaning, painting and other work had to be done by JARDCL. 
They claimed that if the district administration does not take any step then they will be forced to take legal recourse on the issue with the Jharkhand High Court. 
The morcha officials said that the deputy commissioner assured to form a committee and probe into the issue and take up suitable corrective measures.
