JJA announces new committee; Sampurnanand Bharti named State President

Ranchi: Following the recommendation of Jharkhand state in-charge Chandan Mishra, the Jharkhand Journalist Association (JJA) has formed a new state committee, and the national president, Ashok Pandey, has given his approval. The organization has sent a letter to Rajiv Lochan Bakshi, the Director of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Jharkhand Government, confirming the establishment of the new committee. According to the press release, the newly formed committee will assume office immediately.

All office bearers of the State Committee will take an oath administered by the Speaker of the Jharkhand Assembly, Rabindra Nath Mahato, pledging to uphold the code of conduct and dignity of journalism.

The information has been disseminated to all departmental secretaries and district headquarters of the Jharkhand Government in Ranchi. Additionally, the organization has sent letters to all ministers of the Jharkhand government, Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, Secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department, Director General of Police, and all District Deputy Commissioners and Public Relations Officers across the districts.
