Jharkhand University contractual teachers oppose online classes diktat in vacation

Jamshedpur, May 31: State president of Jharkhand State University Contract Teachers Association Rakesh Kumar Pandey has opposed the terms and conditions of online classes for need-based assistant teachers during summer vacation.

Rakesh Kumar Pandey has said that this statement has been issued after meeting the vice-chancellor in-charge of Kolhan University and the principals of the college.

According to the resolution of the government, need-based assistant professors have been given due respect, but this decision is going to tarnish their reputation. According to this decision, the decision to record one hour class and upload it on the website of the university and college is not only impractical, but also ridiculous as it takes time to upload a one hour video.

He has said that saying that if the principal wants, he can give one class instead of two hours by getting the non-teaching work done.

. It is clearly written in it that the principal should ensure that he gets Rs 57700 every month. Rakesh Pandey has said that if the need-based assistant professors in the university and college do not get Rs 57,700 per month as per what was said under proper respect and resolution, then the union will meet the Governor-cum-Chancellor regarding this matter and talk about its solution.

The assistant professor will not consider the decision of uploading the video recording of one hour class on the website as need-based as the decision is impractical.
