Jharkhand to open 5,000 Utkristh Vidyalaya for Quality Education, Announces CM Hemant Soren

Gumla: In a significant development, Chief Minister Hemant Soren revealed plans to establish five thousand excellent schools across Jharkhand, with an aim to enhance the quality of education in the state. The announcement was made during an address in Gumla, where the Chief Minister highlighted the commitment to strengthening the education system.
Presently, the state boasts 80 excellent schools, marking an initial step towards the broader goal of improving educational facilities. Emphasizing the importance of rural development, Chief Minister Hemant Soren noted that 80 percent of Jharkhand’s population resides in villages. He reiterated the government’s dedication to running the state with a focus on villages and panchayats.
Prioritizing accessibility and inclusivity, the Chief Minister outlined the government’s initiative called ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar,’ which aims to bring government services directly to the people’s doorsteps. This program, now in its third iteration, involves organizing camps in villages and panchayats to address citizens’ concerns and ensure the seamless implementation of government schemes.
During the ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar’ program in Kasira Panchayat of Gumla, Chief Minister Soren affirmed the continuation of such initiatives, emphasizing that strengthening the state requires a concurrent focus on empowering its villages. He stressed that building a robust rural economy is essential for the overall progress of Jharkhand.
Accompanied by key officials and dignitaries, including Minister Satyanand Bhokta, Minister Badal Patralekh, MLAs Bhushan Tirkey and Jiga Susaran Horo, Chief Minister Hemant Soren reiterated the government’s commitment to fulfill its responsibilities towards the people, promoting education, and enhancing the overall socio-economic landscape of the state.
