Jharkhand State Yogasana Championship- 2024 begins in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, August 25: The 24th Jharkhand State Yogasana Sports Championship 2024, organized by the Purvi Singhbhum District Yoga Association in collaboration with Tata Steel and UP Sangh, commenced on Sunday at the Motilal Nehru Public School auditorium. The two-day event being conducted between August 25 and 26, will see participants from various districts of Jharkhand compete in different age categories to secure their spots in the national competition.

The event was jointly inaugurated on Sunday by Dr. D. P. Shukla (Chief Guest), Secretary of U.P. Sangh Raj Singh (Human Rights Activist), B. N. Pal, V. S. Rana, Raghubansh Mani Singh (Special Guest), Editor of News Dhamaka Dr. M. K. Raj, Kaushik Dutta, and Vaishali Karmakar.

Between 400-500 participants from across Jharkhand were showcasing their talents in age groups ranging from 14 to 16, 16 to 18, and various senior categories, including 30 to 35, 35 to 40, and above 45. The winners will be announced during the prize distribution and closing ceremony on August 26.
