Jamshedpur: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has unveiled plans for the reinstatement of constables, outlining specific criteria for the process. In addition to regular reinstatements, the initiative aims to fill backlog posts in the region. The Commission has prepared a district-wise list, indicating that a total of 1170 constables will be recruited in the Kolhan region.
As part of the reinstatement process, interested candidates can submit their applications online at http://www.jssc.nic.in. A crucial aspect of the reinstatement criteria is the validity of the local certificate. Only certificates issued by the Circle Officer after July 19, 2019, will be considered valid, with those issued before this date being deemed invalid. Additionally, local certificates issued at any level before June 2, 2016, will not be accepted.
To facilitate the process, an examination fee has been established at Rs 100 for the general category, while candidates from Scheduled Castes and Tribes will incur an examination fee of Rs 50. The Home Department has allocated 50 percent of the total vacancies for Home Guard trained soldiers, ensuring opportunities for those with specific training backgrounds.
