Jharkhand signs MoA with IIMA for setting up Jharkhand Innovation Lab

Ranchi, Dec. 27: Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that after establishment of Jharkhand Innovation Labs, the youths of the state will get a new dimension as they will be able to materialize their innovative ideas and make themselves famous on national and international level.

On the occasion of signing of MoA (memorandum of agreement) with IIM Ahmedabad, the CM said that the lab will help individuals to establish industry according to their own interest. New scope for employment will be created and economic activities will prosper, he observed.

IT secretary Sunil Kumar Barnwal and Shailesh Gandhi from IIM signed the MoA. Barnwal said that there will be work stations in the lab and that it will be made Wi-Fi and start working in 8 months.

Gandhi said that the HQ of the innovation lab will be in Ranchi and sub-centres will be opened in educational institutions. This lab will be connected with foreign investors, bank, corporate houses, industry associations and funding institutions.

Principal Secretary to CM Sanjay Kumar, Principal Secretary M. S. Bhatia, Principal Secretary Nidhi Khare, Secretary Surendra Singh Meena and many other state officials were present on the occasion.
