Development top priority for Jharkhand government: Menka

Jamshedpur, Dec. 27: BJP is celebrating the ‘Vikas Parv’ (festival of development) on the two years completion of Raghubar Das led Jharkhand government. A programme was held at Durga Puja ground at Hata chowk in Potka on Tuesday.

At the event nukkad natak was staged to make the people aware about the cashless transaction. Chief Guest for the occasion MLA Menka Sardar said, the BJP government in the centre and the state is focusing on development.

‘Jharkhand was suffering from corruption and backwardness but now the situation has changed as roads are being built at fast pace’, said MLA. She further said that 52 schemes are being run by the Government of India and 22 by the Jharkhand government in the public interest. Menka also informed about the upcoming schemes and notable work being done at the Potka assembly area.

BJP leader Chandrasekhar Mishra and Mithilesh Yadav informed about the benefits of innovation schemes of the government and assured to help reach the schemes to the last person of the society through the party workers.

BJP district president Dinesh Kumar said, the Raghubar Das led government is focusing on to make Jharkhand a developed state and push it out of corruption and backwardness and is functioning with the buzzword ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’.

BJP leader Ramesh Hansda informed about the work being done by the Raghubar government which is in the interest of Jharkhand. ‘Announcement of domicile policy and amendments if the CNT-SPT acts are in the interest of the state which would help Jharkhand run on the tracks of development’, added Hansda.

Earlier the celebration began with paying tributes to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.

Also present at the event were MP representative Sanjeev Kumar, Aftab Ahmed Siddique, Kulwant Singh Bunty, Zila Parshad Rana Dey, Bhupinder Singh, Satya Prakash Singh, Anil Modi, Chandrasekhar Gupta, Rakesh Singh, Sunil Bari, Pushpa Tirkey, BJP Yuva Morcha president Manoj Bajpayee and others.
