Jharkhand: Rajiv Lochan Bakshi returns as IPRD director

Ranchi, October 18: Jharkhand government in an administrative reshuffle has made the chief conservator of forest Rajiv Lochan Bakshi, an officer of the Indian Forest Service, as the Director of Directorate of Information and Public Relations till further orders.

His service has been taken back from the forest department. Incidentally, was the director of Information and Public Relations Director till February this year.

Santosh Kumar Vats, an officer of IRS service and Special Secretary, Commercial Tax Department, has been posted as Commissioner of Commercial Tax, Jharkhand Ranchi till further orders. The Personnel Department has issued a notification in this regard on Monday.

The state government has transferred and posted eight officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in the said notification.

Kamal Kishore Son, the secretary, Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Minorities, Backward Classes Welfare Department, has been given the additional charge of secretary, transport department along with his work till further orders.

Transport secretary K Srinivasan has been transferred to the post of director, Shri Krishna Institute of Public Administration (SKIPA), Ranchi. Industries Director Jitendra Kumar Singh has been given additional charge of mines commissioner. Mission director of National Rural Health Mission Ranchi Umashankar Singh has been transferred as director, land acquisition and land records and the has been appointed and the post has been established.

Project Director AIDS Control Bhuvnesh Prasad Singh has been given additional charge of executive director Jharkhand State Commission Society Ranchi along with his functions. Commercial Tax Commissioner Akanksha Ranjan has been appointed and posted as Managing Director Jharcraft Ranchi till further orders. Director of land acquisition, land records, Karan Satyarthi, has been made deputy development commissioner Gumla.

Director Information and Public Relations Department Shashi Prakash Singh, has been transferred as as director administration, RIMS Ranchi till further orders.
