Ranchi: Jharkhand Police’s campaign against the Naxalites continues continuously. The police will take a big action to break the backbone of Naxalism.
Jharkhand Police is now going to attach the properties of Naxalites. The police have completed all the procedures regarding this. According to media reports, the Jharkhand police will attach the properties of seven Naxalites, including Asim Mandal, with a reward of Rs 1 crore. In this regard, SP of rural area Rishabh Garg said that preparations are being made to attach the property of other Naxalites including Asim Mandal.
According to the police, Asim Mandal alias Akash is a member of the Central Committee of CPI-Maoist. The list also includes the names of Ram Prakash Mardi alias Sachin of Patmada, Shyam Singh Sinku of West Singhbhum, Biren Singh alias Sagar of Saraikela-Kharsawan district, Sita Mardi alias Meeta and others who received a reward of fifteen lakhs. The police has filed a complaint against them. Apart from this, the police are pressuring these Naxalites to surrender.
The police plan to remand Rahul and Jayant, who are accused of murdering Jamshedpur’s former MP Sunil Mahato. Rahul and Jayant had surrendered before the West Bengal Police. According to the surrender policy of West Bengal, Rahul has been given the job of home guard. In such a situation, remanding Rahul and Jayant will be a big challenge in front of the police. It is worth noting that in Kolhan area, the police is engaged in breaking the back of Naxalites. Under this, the police are also taking other steps along with conducting operations in Naxalite areas.
